About the Author
James W. Sire (PhD, University of Missouri), formerly a senior editor at InterVarsity Press, is an active speaker and writer. He has taught English, philosophy, theology, and short courses at many universities and seminaries. He continues to be a frequent guest lecturer in the United States and Europe. An excellent Beginning Text

As a beginning text for worldview, is excellent. Gives overview on the major world views in concise manner. Presents fairly, still affirms Christian Theism. The chapter on Islam could use some works, makes some statements that are misleading and incorrect.

Didn't read this book twice. It was that bad.

I initially didn't read this book for one of my classes at college. It was annoying to read, so I didn't complete it. Then I went to a different college where they assigned this book a second time. While some people may have taken it as a sign that this book should be read, I am not one of those people. I "read" this a while ago, so I can't give details as to why I did not like it, but please know that this semi-nerdy 20 year old hated it.
