Extremely helpful resource

Extremely helpful resource to prepare for the McKinsey PEI. After reading this book it will be clear that the PEI is a full interview format like the case interview and needs to be prepared with the same rigor. Without knowing all this, I would not want to go to my McKinsey interviews. Given the importance of the PEI, I can definitely recommend this ebook to prepare.

Extremely overpriced for publicly available online information

It is not a book, it is a set of powerpoint slides. All the information (actually much more) in this book can be found online. I was very stressed for my interview and bought this book (ebook version on the original website) for 97 dollars but it should actually be a 7 dollar book, maybe 3.

WARNING: FRAUDULENT REVIEWS

The booklet is - unfortunately - not useful at all. A nice concise guide with some examples priced at $10 would be awesome, but that is not what you are getting. You are getting an agglomeration of trivial stuff stretched to look like a lot with a healthy dose of inspiration from Victor Cheng. Have a look at the positive reviews, in particular on the German Amazon website; they are all from accounts that have reviewed Mr Steiner's other two books and not much else, one account even is in the author's name. Looks like a pretty clear cut case of fraud to me - stay away!
You will find plenty of free info that is considerably more helpful than this useless booklet, stuffed with advertisements for the author's skype sessions. Typically McKinsey will schedule a coaching call; feel free to ask any clarifying questions you may have regarding your stories for each of the dimensions, they will not hold it against you.
