Follow this advice

I read this book and it explained why the 8 Hour Diet didn't work. It didn't work for me. This book refers you to a book by Pilon and his form of fasting has worked the best for me. Easy to follow and easy to adopt as a lifestyle change. It is the first "diet" plan that I can actually continue for the rest of my life. I don't feel deprived and I continue to lose weight at a steady pace.
I would never have know about Pilon's book if it wasn't for this book. I owe a great debt of thanks to Girard for challenging the 8 Hour Diet's misuse of the research and setting the research on fasting straight.
Read it - then follow his advice.

Oversimplification

Poorly written. Oversimplified. Repetitive. Seem like anyone could have written this, just another opinion about the diet and there are plenty out there.

Saved me some cash...

I was going to purchase the 8 hour diet and decided to borrow this book first. I do believe that giving the public the idea that you can eat whatever you want for eight hours and lose weight is a marketing ploy. I think this author brings you back to the basic fact that there are no free rides. The 8 hour diet may work if you make sure you make healthy choices.
